Confidentiality
Client confidentiality depends on your technology.
Lawyers have a duty to make reasonable efforts to protect client information, and that now clearly includes email, cloud storage, laptops and phones. A lost unencrypted laptop or a compromised mailbox can turn into a breach notification and a malpractice question.
The biggest everyday risk for firms is business email compromise: a criminal gets into a mailbox, or imitates one, and sends convincing wiring instructions at closing. Multi-factor sign-in, email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), sign-in monitoring and staff training stop most of these attacks. Our Secure+ plan includes all four.

Common questions
How do we protect against wire-transfer fraud?
Use multi-factor authentication on every mailbox, configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your domain is harder to fake, monitor for suspicious sign-ins, and adopt a firm rule to verify any change in wiring instructions by phone using a number you already have. We handle the technical side and help train your team on the rest.
