What managed IT means
We run your IT so you can run your business.
Managed IT means you hand day-to-day responsibility for your technology to a team that is accountable for keeping it working. Instead of calling someone after something breaks and paying by the hour, you pay a flat monthly fee and we work to stop problems before they reach your desk.
For most Maine businesses with 5 to 100 people, that's cheaper and far less disruptive than hiring a full-time IT person, and you get a whole team's range of skills instead of one person's. If you already have IT staff, we can work alongside them as backup, taking the help desk or the security monitoring off their plate.

FAQ
Common questions
How much do managed IT services cost?
Managed IT is usually priced per user or per device each month, and the total depends on how many people and computers you have, which plan you choose, and what you already have in place. We price every plan to your setup, and the quote comes after a free assessment so there are no surprises.
Do you come on-site, or is everything remote?
Most problems are fixed in minutes over a remote session, which is the fastest option for you. When something needs hands, like new hardware, cabling or a network problem, we come to you anywhere in Maine. On-site support is included in the Complete and Secure+ plans.
We already have an IT person. Can you work with them?
Yes. Co-managed IT is common. We can take the help desk, monitoring, security or backups off their plate, give them a team to escalate to, and cover vacations and sick days.
What size businesses do you work with?
Most of our clients have between 5 and 100 people. Smaller offices often start on Essentials; growing or regulated businesses usually choose Complete or Secure+.
What happens when we switch to Pine State Systems?
We start with a free assessment, then document your systems, fix the most urgent risks first, and roll out monitoring and security without disrupting your day. We handle the handoff from your previous provider.
